Right then, I've setup Markdown in my admin interface. I'm using the PHP Markdown port by Michel Fortin, Markdown itself was written by John Gruber.
It seems to be working pretty well, and should make my life easier when writing articles for the site.
It also means I can cross another item off of my todo list.
