site news archive - database fun

I've been working on the backend system for the news the last couple of days. It's not quite there yet, but hopefully when you're reading this you'll be reading it from the database.
For the minute I just have the news running from it, rather than the whole site, and it's only this news page so far, in the near future I will be writing the necessary code to get the project news pages functioning too.
